The study was carried out to examine students’ reliance of e-resources for improved academic performance. The population of the study consists of 30 final year students of a private school. The study is an online survey and the instrument used is the questionnaire. Specifically, the study aimed at identifying students’ electronic search behavior. Two objectives guided the study. First is to find out how students online search behaviour. Second is to determine the type of resources available to them. The study revealed that students use a mixture of Google (43%) Opera browsers but in favor of Opera (57%) to access mostly foreign writers and information. No recommended local texts were accessed online as students relied on hard copies for access to local authors. No student had accessed any journal. The study however recommends among others, an organized data base for local resources used in Nigerian secondary schools.
