This research is titled "the impact of teamwork on organisational productivity in Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda. It examined the influence of bad attitude and inadequate commitment of team members on organisational productivity, the effect of lack of mutual trust, lack of team collaboration, weak team leadership, and poorly managed team conflict on organisational effectiveness, efficiency and performance. Descriptive research was adopted. A sample of 86 was drawn from a population of 110 using Krejcie & Morgan sampling table. Frequency distribution tables and percentages presentation approaches were employed in the analysis and interpretation of data collected using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It was found that bad attitude– inadequate commitment of team members, bad team leadership, lack of team collaboration and poorly managed team conflict negatively influences the effectiveness and efficiency of a team which directly affect organisational productivity in Federal polytechnic Kaura Namoda. It is therefore recommended that good attitude– an adequate commitment of team members, good team leadership, mutual trust among team members, quick management of team conflict and team collaboration should be enhanced in order to facilitate the achievement of the desired level of productivity in Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda.
